Racine, WI – July 26, 2017 – In less than 2 years, the Greening Greater Racine Volunteer committee has organized residents and businesses in Racine, Kenosha, and Walworth counties to learn about and install over 200 kW of solar power.  By achieving the 100kW milestone this year, all participants will realize an additional 10% rebate on their solar project.

This year to date, more than 80 interested parties have had solar site assessments, and 20 contracts have been signed.  There are now over 120 kW and counting of solar projects secured for this year’s program, compared to 18 contracts and 80kW in all of 2016.

Anyone interested in pursuing solar in the Southeastern Wisconsin Solar Group Buy is encouraged to schedule online for a site assessment by Friday, July 28, 2017.

The Southeastern Wisconsin Solar Group Buy officially ends August 31, 2017, so all contracts signed by that time will qualify for the highest rebate amount for this year’s program.

More information can also be found on the Southeast Wisconsin Solar Group Buy website at www.swsgb.solar.
